Stack Over DSP
- Problem: Developing a high-performance UDP/IP stack for a DSP in a VoIP phone before Cisco entered the market.
- Solution: Created a UDP/IP stack based on BSD source code, specifically adapted for the DSP, with Cisco protocol integration.
- Result: Successfully certified by Cisco in San Francisco, enabling reliable VoIP communication.
Embedded Development
for Set-Top Boxes
- Problem: Integrating an electronic program guide (EPG) into Sony, Panasonic, and Philips products within embedded systems’ constraints.
- Solution: Developed software to integrate Gemstar’s EPG into custom hardware for consumer devices.
- Result: Delivered a seamless EPG experience, enhancing customer interaction with Sony, Panasonic, and Philips products.
Autonomous Raspberry
Pi System with
Global Remote Control
- Problem: Efficiently scan DVB networks globally and transmit data from remote sites, including restricted areas like China.
- Solution: Deployed autonomous Raspberry Pi devices with a read-only OS and OpenVPN, allowing remote control via a global cloud setup.
- Result: Enabled reliable, remote DVB data collection even in restricted environments.
PCI Driver
for BUS CAN
- Problem: Cross-platform compatibility for CAN bus integration on PCI cards for Windows and Linux systems.
- Solution: Created a driver for PCI cards to interface with BUS CAN, ensuring compatibility across both operating systems.
- Result: Provided seamless integration with the CAN network, enhancing system functionality.
EPG Integration for Consumer Electronics
- Problem: Embedding EPG functionality across various consumer devices.
- Solution: Integrated Gemstar’s EPG software into specific hardware configurations for Sony, Panasonic, and Philips.
- Result: Ensured consistent and reliable EPG functionality across multiple brands, boosting user experience.

- Solution: Installed an advanced multi-satellite reception system for a client.

Scratch Adaptation
for XY Plotter Robot
- Problem: Create an educational coding tool for children with robotics.
- Solution: Adapted the Scratch platform to control an open-source XY plotter robot.
- Result: Delivered an engaging, hands-on coding experience that merges education with practical robotics.
Race Event
Encoding System
for Major Motorsports
- Problem: Real-time tracking and encoding of race events from track officials for high-profile races, such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Bol d’Or (Moto), and 24 Hours of Spa (Belgium).
- Solution: Developed a Windows-based system in Visual Basic and C++ to encode trackside reports (pit stops, driver changes, refueling, issues) into a live dashboard, providing real-time updates for press rooms and ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Result: Enabled accurate, instant reporting and statistical analysis, significantly improving information flow for race organizers and media teams.
